Hope Tree

I didn't know what to expect from poetry of erasure. Even while logically understanding that the process is not all that dissimilar from normal writing--the selecting of words from a limited vocabulary, the imposition of arbitrary structure--it seemed like the process could produce at best gimmicky poems.
