Dj java Jeff did a good job explaining java code for android developement. Make sure that you know this book is exactly what the title says: JAVA.
It's a good book for those people that want to pick up Java, especially geared towards Android development.I'd use this as a supplement to an Android programming book.
Not for beginners to say the least, this book is a complex introduction to Java and barely mentions anything specific about Android. The only thing you will learn is that he advises you that Android uses Eclipse.
